New computer systems are advertised on TV. Check for the best price between Gateway, Dell, etc. Mr. Topel has found the Dells to be extremely reliable.

The best place to get a used computer is through the classifieds. Sunday there were several good systems for under $300. Be sure you see the system running before buying. Make sure the system meets these minimum specifications.
